The Terrace is the forward observation platform of the Pillar of Horns. It extends outward from the ship's bow, and even features apertures in the floor reminiscent of the defensive embrasures found along the parapets of a castle. However, these are purely decorative, as the Pillar of Horns is a vessel, not a fortified structure that must withstand an assault.
The captain, along with other spotters, stands on the bow's watch deck. They occupy a terrace overlooking the front of the ship, which resembles the base of a cylinder. This flat expanse teems with gun ports, numbering twenty in total. An Asmodean Lance, a medium cannon named after Ba'lith's principal deity, Asmodeus, lies behind each opening. Rax, situated thirty feet above the main deck, surveys the horizon from a viewing area outfitted with an array of spyglasses, intently searching for the enemy vessel.

In addition to the observation equipment, the terrace features an ebony wood table that holds maps encased in glass, along with an under-shelf storing chalk, parchment, and handheld navigation tools for direction, wind speed assessment, and elevation measurement.
