This barren moon is the dwelling place of a sizable civilization of illithids. It poses a perilous threat to the majority of creatures due to the noxious gases, electrical tempests, and acidic lakes dotting its surface. The landscape is mountainous, featuring deep chasms and expansive glaciers. A substantial population of giants inhabits these regions. The gravitational force on this moon is half that of Bal-Kriav's.
Creatures of Urokolon possess remarkable agility and the capability to execute astonishing leaps, a consequence of the moon's gravity. The greatest menace to inhabitants, however, are the illithids and their minions - brain golems, cessirids, embracs, and saltors.
The Breath of Urokolon poses a formidable threat on this moon. This powerful wind, audible from miles away, can reach speeds exceeding 300 miles per hour. Given the hazards presented by this gale, most inhabitants take refuge beneath the lunar surface. However, some illithid constructions on the surface have been designed to divert the wind, as have the ruins of many ancient cities of an unidentified civilization.
Due to atmospheric gases, Urokolon is distinguished by its pinkish and gray striated luminescence. The gray hue stems from dirt particles transported on the winds of the Breath of Urokolon.
