The second sovereign of the
Ningizzida Empire was
a medusa named Abregaer. Upon her demise through court
machinations, a magical artifact was fashioned from her
lifeless serpentine tresses. Since that fateful occurrence, it
has become a longstanding tradition for each subsequent
Ningizzida ruler, who also bears the medusa lineage, to have
their serpentine locks incorporated into the creation of a
mystical item.
