The inaugural Clone Tank was constructed by the wizard-governor Milûnâth. It was fabricated with technology extracted from one of the Vaults of Ayaraigas. Milûnâth was a devoted subject of Tamlêrran, and servant of the Zenduram, so he surrendered his innovation to the government where it was subsequently transferred to the Department of Military Applications and Research.
Cloning Tanks are found in vast numbers at the military research labs of Githân-Phazân. These Cloning Tanks are significantly more advanced than the one described below. The Zenduram employ Cloning Tanks to generate soldiers for the Kamlêth-Girân.
A Clone Tank is a sizeable device fabricated from ten moss green deep crystal tanks constructed around a central obsidian tank. The tanks are interconnected by numerous pipes. Upon activation, a milky white substance circulates through the pipes, filling each tank. The central tank levitates atop a pile of fungi. This fungi mass is sentient, with sages referring to it as the Fungi Collective. To create a clone of the subject in the central cloning tank, the Fungi Collective must be fed crushed deep crystal, along with other materials, at a cost of 2,000 gps per clone.
