In the year 1523, the Khazarkar Empire concluded the Second Ugradrath War which had lasted from 1517 to 1523. As stipulated by the treaty, territories and populations were restored to their rightful owners.

The murder of the reigning Setarch, orchestrated by the Aphallanâth family, resulted in new leadership and a divergent course. The Khazarkar Empire's new rulers, Setarch Hâlê, prioritized economic matters over continued hostilities.
