Strike Talons are formidable swords, saddle swords originally employed for combat from the backs of dragons. Similar to a saddle sword, it can be utilized for slashing or as a short spear. Strike Talons diverge in that the crossbar midway along the blade, aside from impeding creatures from becoming stuck on the weapon, is an integral component of the weapon's firing mechanism. One bar is twisted like a narrow grip, while the other features a hole with a cross-hair. The hilt possesses a compartment to insert a multi-chambered Vortex Cell, transforming it into a deadly repeating ranged weapon.
