When a mortal's life comes to an end, their soul energy is channeled into a corresponding Soul Gathering System based on their predominant alignment. Beyond the confines of the Mortal Systems, this realm facilitates their reincarnation, often resulting in the individual's mortal memories becoming obscured.
The so-called "evil systems" are, in fact, a concentration of specific energy types, such as Negative Entropy and Unholy Energy, which are associated with the Nine Hells. Conversely, the "goodly systems," like Arborea, serve as a focal point for entropic energy and holy energy.
Once in a Soul Gathering System, the deceased's soul energy is repurposed. In the Nine Hells, this energy goes into crafting more devils. In the Abyss, spawning lakes churn with souls experiencing their inaugural torment; if they fight free, they become demons. Souls that reach benevolent and neutral realms, such as Arborea, Elysium, Equipoise, Nawenglorûs, and Nirvana, ascend to the broader category of non-mortals known as celestials. The term "angels" is reserved primarily for the celestials of Nawenglorûs.
