Region Tribe Steppes
Alias Ašetal
Map Sava'loth

Once known as Ašetal, this lake acquired its new name from the incessant howling of hounds that hunt the area. The beasts prowl the shoreline hungrily. Some of these calls originate from more perilous predators, such as werewolves or shadow mastiffs. The latter ascend from Shadow Rift to inhabit the forests and hills surrounding the lake. Encompassing much of the lake are the hunting grounds of these feral beasts, the forest Singarban. The uncivilized nature of the region precludes the lake from witnessing any active naval traffic, but at night, skiffs with undead crews rise from the bay's depths to prowl the waters and coastlines. These cursed undead are Kriavfahliil slain while investigating the ancient tower on the lake's eastern banks. The sole surviving member of the group stated that a ghostly aboleth and at least one demon lair within this keep.

The southern outflow of this lake marks the source of the Ithen river.
