| Map | Ithen River |
The Ithen river takes its name from the Ithendelt nation that inhabited the southern shores of the Baying Lake. The Ithen is a lengthy, broad, and swiftly-flowing river. Originating from the southern banks of the Baying Lake, the current accelerates as it descends through the Maegorion Forest, then decelerates as it traverses along the eastern edge of the Jadvild lava fields. Throughout the Jadvild vale, the river's course has been gradually pushed eastward by the periodic eruptions of Mount Traeulf.
The Ithen accelerates once more as it traverses the rugged Storsald Mountains. After navigating these elevated peaks, it crosses the expansive Marrow Fields, ultimately concluding its journey where it flows into the Galathien Sea.
