Gazulud-Gik is an immense granite bridge situated west of the Marrow Fields. This colossal span was crafted during the First Epoch by the dwarves of Guthnimor. The structure was later magically fortified by the Arch-Mages of Merioss. The Gazulud-Gik bridge traverses the mighty Ithen river, measuring 2000' in length and 40' in width. Both extremities of the bridge are flanked by 40' tall statues depicting dwarven engineers.
The local populace frequently refers to it as the Bloodwater Bridge. This alternative designation is believed to have been acquired during the Black Tide War (1465 - 1486), when the blood from the numerous engagements waged atop this structure cascaded into the waters beneath.
