West of Hells Womb and south of the Northern Hordelands lies what has long been revered as the sacred lands. During the Dawn Era, the deities and celestial beings referred to this region as Phiyel, a Supernal term signifying "purity." Presently, it is more commonly recognized as the Lands of Purity.
In the Demon Spawn War, the two sectors of this region, along with Skycius of the Northern Hordelands, formed a bulwark against the demons. It was the center of a resistance, the heart of the Quara'tun Covenant battling on fronts across numerous regions. Iglutt served as a Covenant Holy Bastion, and places like Guleddab trained unicorn cavalry units.
Today, the majority of the region is governed by nations upholding the rule of law. During the Black Tide War (spanning from 1465 to 1486), a significant portion of the area succumbed to the undead legions of the Black Tide.
In the Athenian Crusade (1539 - 1551) and subsequent years, the Lands of Purity once more embraced the mantle of virtue, once more becoming the foundation for righteousness across all of Brucrumus.
Beneath the Lands of Purity lies the Underdark region known as Onvorn.
