The Demon Spawn War was an inter-system conflict between the demons that had occupied Piranoth's Steps, collectively known as the Abyssal Hegemony, and the immortal and mortal armies under the banner of the Quara'tun Covenant.

The Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) marked the genesis of the Demon Spawn War. Towards the conclusion of the Creation War, the primordials had become so weakened that they could no longer constrain a problem of their own making. Across what was once known as Piranoth's Steps (now commonly referred to as the Abyss), their hordes were succumbing to evil and being corrupted by the very world they inhabited. The Abyssal Release ( 7777 DE - 8777 DE ) witnessed the demons breaking free, initiating an assault on the worlds of the Quara'tun System.

When the Abyss was forged in the farthest depths of the Void, it is rumored that the malevolence radiating from this domain tainted certain powerful primordials.

Demogorgon, Baphomet, and Orcus were primordial entities that became imbued with chaos and malevolence, subsequently transforming into the embodiment of pure, unrestrained evil. They ascended to the status of demon lords, presiding over the vast domains of the Abyss.

When we vanquished the primordials, we paved the way for the demon incursion into Quara'tun.

Naraz-Nâru, a mithril plague that struck Ginbar-Karud - "One Darkness Unto Another"

What Naraz-Nâru suggests is partially accurate. Some of the demons were birthed from primordial entities like Gabin Kûn or were hastily conjured during the waning years of the Creation War. It is also rumored that primordial beings, chaos archons, giants, and their subordinates who tarried too long in Piranoth's Steps were corrupted by a malevolent influence radiating from the Step of Foundation.

In 89 GE, the Demon Spawn War commenced with Jurusalax's invasion of Kriav. By 109 GE, he had transported his armies to Bal-Kriav through the Núlananya Rift. In the realm of Zythess, Jurusalax engaged in battle against the forces of Callarduran and Silvanus on the Zythess Front.

The demonic forces under Sess'innek commenced their incursion into the Chen'gom Sector in 91 GE.

The army of Demogorgon commenced its invasion of the Hells Womb region of Bal-Kriav in 98 GE. The forces converged upon the area, intent on extending the grasp of their malevolent master. The assault marked a critical juncture in the ongoing conflict, as the demonic hordes sought to consolidate their control over the treacherous landscape.

In 105 GE, demonic forces commanded by Orcus commenced their invasion of the Aerie of Dragons and its darker underbelly, Adunamar. That same year, Athroond opened the Arioch Cloud, initiating his conquest of the Drarthiel region of Bal-Kriav.

In the year 121 GE, demons under the lord Baphomet construct a towering bastion known as Kodgroar.

In the year 135 GE, the demon lord Sathumort is vanquished by the valiant Maeraddyth Brigade.

In 153 GE, the commencement of the Tha'lith Front ( 153 GE - 176 GE ) , demonic forces under Graz'zt initiated their invasion of northern Karterus.

In the Yandôr Front, the Covenant ally Chronos is vanquished in a final desperate push against Graz'zt's southern legions.

In the year 158 of the God Era, following the birth of the catastrophic Primordial Storm, the fearsome demon lord Yeenoghu commenced his invasion of the realm of Bal-Kriav, assaulting the Northern Hordelands and encroaching into the eastern territories of the Clans region.

In the Hoof Front ( 215 GE - 230 GE ) , the armed forces of Orcus confronted those of Asmodeus and Bahamut.

In the year 245 GE, vanquished in the Fifth Battle of Ladneg, the vile entity known as Demogorgon withdrew to his dark realm.

In the year 269 of the God Era, with the majority of demons pushed back to their home realm or eliminated, the Demons Spawn War comes to a close.
