Phollûmâ is an area of esteemed fortified sanctuaries surrounding the Cairn Ascent. As a Covenant Holy Bastion, it was constructed in proximity to two problematic regions: the surface territory of Ladneg and the armies under Demogorgon, as well as the subterranean domain of Curatoch and the hordes led by the demon lord Athroond. The forces stationed at Phollûmâ were entrusted with the responsibility of preventing these demon lords from uniting their efforts.

After the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), Phollûmâ fell under the stewardship of the Ishtu Irrai. Once an elite cadre of angels, holy archons, and deities, the organization is now led by battle-hardened mortals who carry on the righteous cause of their illustrious predecessors.

Phollûmâ is safeguarded by exceedingly powerful sigils placed there by angels and even Higher Powers. Inside the location are demon-slaying weaponry, Valhalla Sarcophagi, ancient relics from the Dawn and God Eras, the Purity Forge, and an army of guardians to defend the place should it ever be breached. Certain areas have remained sealed since the God Era; even the Ishtu Irrai dare not enter them. During the God Era, the Wardens of Bal-Kriav were headquartered in one of these secluded zones.

Phollûmâ, though seemingly impenetrable, was breached during the Horgon Era by a Fomorian conjurer named Khushnír. However, his intrusion was short-lived, as Phollûmâ's tireless guardians quickly apprehended him and his companions. A decade later, Khushnír utilized one of the tomes he had absconded with to create the phenomenon now recognized as the Vortices of Khushnír.

The Council of Divine Oversight firmly believes that it was you, Ptah, who aided Khushnír's escape. Your follower could not have simply stumbled upon the correct books amidst so many decoys. This matter troubles us greatly, yet since we lack evidence and the outcome benefited the people of Phiyel, the case is closed. However, be advised that the Divine Mandate exists for a crucial purpose.
