The Wall of Meddling is a lengthy passage within an ancient Covenant Holy Bastion known as Phollûmâ. Etched in Supernal, it chronicles all the instances where the Higher Powers have intervened in mortal affairs. Until the conclusion of the God Era, its purpose was to document the actions of various powers and their outcomes. It served as one of the resources supporting the Hall of Edicts, which established the laws of the Mandate of the Heavens.
The gods did not create the isles of Necrocrypt from the primordial soup, more commonly known today as Chaos. In the Dawn Era, the area of Necrocrypt was open seas. During the God Era, Gathrot emerged from the depths, forged by the fires of two volcanoes, Gruggvein and Groarnfer. Though Gathrot appears normal on the surface, ten miles beneath the landmass lies a brood of phaethons - mighty beings, the progeny of Surtur, who were the first to be utilized by this fire god in his vision of Bal-Kriav.
