In the Demon Spawn War (89 GE - 269 GE), a monumental battle transpired here between the forces of the demon lord known as Aperoq and those loyal to Chronos. Amidst the crushing defeat, a single regiment-sized unit, the Vauquix, managed to escape.

After the Demon Spawn War, Imrabêl became home to Minotaur tribes. During the First Epoch, they emerged as a formidable force, halting commerce whenever they required currency. At the time, the southern edge of the valley belonged to the Khazarkar, while the northern reaches flew the banners of the Tragaran. When the Khazarkar established the settlement of Chal-Kazod, the minotaurs united and engaged them in conflict. The valley would witness three wars over the ensuing centuries. In the last of these, the Third Imrabêl War (412 - 414), the First Khazarkar Empire defeated and enslaved the minotaurs. Subsequently, the valley became the breadbasket of a rapidly expanding empire with northward territorial ambitions.

In the Gulimbor Cataclysm, which spanned from 996 to 1203, the valley was completely depopulated of all humanoid inhabitants. The once-mighty strongholds of Chal-Kazod and Athânâlo were reduced to mere ruins, serving as havens for a variety of magical beasts and monstrosities.
