Died 9 Temporal 8635 DE

Gabin Kûn is one of the offspring of Piranoth. Due to his ill temperament, repulsive appearance, vindictiveness, and depravity, Piranoth banished Gabin Kûn to the deeper reaches of Piranoth's Steps. On the world Thanatos, Gabin Kûn was tasked with constructing a grand forge to supply the primordial armies in a great war to come. Thus, Gabin Kûn and his psychopathic minions set to work on a sizable forge area they named Naratyr. During the Creation War, the forges of Naratyr produced countless weapons and armor for the Chaos Archons and massive armies under Geb, Surtur, Hettar, and others allied with Piranoth.

Gabin Kûn followed in his father's footsteps by producing numerous progeny. Gabin Kûn is said to have possessed a harem of thousands. Many of those he fathered were abominations. They pulsed with life, devoid of feeling, motionless and seemingly in a catatonic state. And like his father, Gabin Kûn prohibited infanticide in the lands under his dominion, so these sons, daughters, and sexless ones were sent off and concealed in the other worlds of Piranoth's Steps. When chaos and evil brewed in the depths of these worlds, many of these abominations came to life. The more cunning and powerful among them became demon lords, terrors of the 666 steps, or worlds of what would become known as the Abyss.

Two of the most dreadful demon lords that emerged from Gabin Kûn's lineage are Orcus and Jurusalax. Both schemed to usurp their father's position as ruler of Naratyr.

When the primordials abandoned Piranoth's Steps during the Abyssal Release (7777 DE - 8777 DE), Gabin Kûn and his people were largely decimated by the demons. Orcus almost perished while battling his father, surviving only due to his father's mercy. Orcus swiftly capitalized on this opportunity, immediately striking down his father and quipping:

I will record this as zero for the killing of an infant, and one for the killing of a monarch.

Orcus, upon the passing of his sire - "Reveling in Gabin Kûn's demise"

With the demise of Gabin Kûn, Orcus assumed dominion over Naratyr and the realm of Thanatos. The sole remnant of Gabin Kûn is a segment of his spine, which serves as the grip for a formidable artifact known as the Wand of Orcus.
