primordials VS Nawirrûs Covenant

The Creation War was a conflict between the primordials and those supporting the work of the Creationists. This vast confrontation, encompassing multiple systems, saw Higher Powers and their angelic and mortal armies battle against the primordials and their legions of chaos archons, chaos abominations, giants, and chaos infused mortals. This latter group were mortal races created by the primordials to reinforce their ranks, much like the Covenant utilized mortal races to strengthen their own forces.

Often birthed from the raw energies of Chaos, worlds and systems can take on a life of their own. When pushed to the extreme, they become realms of ultimate perfection or absolute destruction. The demons that seized Piranoth's Steps seek to transform it into an abyssal pit of pure chaos and evil, while the angels, having done their good deed, have made the Mortal Systems a realm of harmony, and are well on their way to crafting the Nawenglorûs system into a place of beauty and perfection - at least according to their own ethical and moral views. This is precisely what we wished to prevent, and the reason we began this great war - to keep Creation from the hands of those who would bend it to their will.

The primordial invasion of Nawirrûs commenced with the opening of Rifts, connecting Chaos to other realms. The objective of this incursion was to undo Creation. The invaders would vanquish the defenders, then dispatch world-destroyers like the Master of Tides and the Nine-Tongued Worm. The first system to succumb was Bru'tuld. It was annihilated by a force even mightier than the aforementioned entities, though the system's star was obliterated in the process.

On 1 Temporal 1501 DE, the entity known by its other name as the World Destroyer, commenced its attack on Sphere 411. In this initial battle, the continent of Šadullu was shattered and then lifted towards the World Destroyer's gaping maw, a one-way rift leading back to the Sea of Entropy. The aim was to replicate the fate that befell Vu Kes, and achieve the complete destruction of Sphere 411 by drawing it back to its origin. Sphere 411, now known as Bal-Kriav, was a frontline world in the ongoing war, leaving it littered with relics, ancient imprisoned creatures from the Dawn Era, and other remnants of the epic conflict. One of the largest battlefields was Regadnîn, where constructs, living spells, and other terrors from the ancient battle still roam the wasteland. In the bleak landscape of Gorejun, north of Malurn, travelers may encounter minor primordials left over from the Dawn Era, some of which are imprisoned in crystalline mountains, magical glacial ice, or buried under heavy rock. One such entity that still wanders this land is the treant-like terror known as Orr-Krurn.

There are a number of areas on Bal-Kriav that served as godly and primordial abodes, bastions, supply depots, and other facilities to sustain, protect, and arm the masses. Achamâz is believed to have functioned as a hospital for wounded angels. Rah Burdah was a region that witnessed the birth of a colossal hecatoncheires . This formidable monster was so mighty that even the gods feared it. It alone tore through the primordial's defenses and then rampaged behind enemy lines, purging entire worlds of primordial influence and slaying a multitude of archons and several primordials.

The eldritch giants, perhaps the most ancient race of the realm, are one of the foremost repositories of history concerning the Creation War. They battled alongside the primordials, only to be left behind like countless others in the wake of the primordials' defeat.

In this northern region of Izen'nâth dwell the eldritch giants of the Thraedli clan. These colossal beings proclaim themselves as the most ancient inhabitants of Bal-Kriav, their lineages extending back to before the cataclysmic events of the Creation War.

Another more readily accessible source of information concerning this conflict and the activities of the angelic forces is the Scrolls of Dawn. Some of the primordials maintained meticulous records of the Creation War. Their most comprehensive historical archive is the Hirstyr Signir.

The Creation War endured for over six millennia, encompassing countless battles and resulting in the deaths of millions upon millions. The conflict spanned numerous systems and dozens of worlds, with some celestial bodies being utterly destroyed and drawn back into the abyss of Chaos. Despite the epic scale of the war and the staggering losses, the Nawirrûs Covenant ultimately prevailed, bringing into existence many new worlds and species. The war also saw the emergence of notable champions on both sides, including the Golden Seven, who would later ascend to the ranks of Higher Powers.

The adverse consequences of the war catalyzed the occurrence of other conflicts, including the Abyssal Release ( 7777 DE - 8777 DE ) , and subsequently, the Demon Spawn War.
