Naikad is a swamp situated in the southeastern reaches of Dulpathâra. It serves as a prison for several legions of Earth Elementals. Once formidable Covenant foes, these elementals are composed of deep crystal and adamantine, forged from the substance of Chaos. They operated under the command of an Arch-Creationist named Storralk, serving as an elite force for the primordial offensive on Bal-Kriav. Due to their high resistance to physical and magical attacks, the Covenant ultimately overcame them by utilizing psychic assaults. The elementals currently trapped in Naikad are all from an army known as the 22nd Foundation Breakers of Storralk. Submerged in the mire, they are now under the influence of a cognitive dissonance emanating from Zarmesh's Brain.
