The Thraedli are six Eldritch Giant bloodlines that remained on the world of Bal-Kraiv after the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE). Those hailing from Frosvirk are credited with reviving an ancient form of necromancy called Maen Saetild, eventually leading to the devastation of Frosvirk and the creation of the Maen Fyrk Boundary Ward.

The Thraedli have a storied past, often collaborating closely with peoples they frequently regard as intellectually and culturally inferior. During the Titan Era, the Thraedli of Gulfrek Hjard were steadfast allies of the Mir'piamauza Empire ( 526 HE - 1612 HE ) , sharing arcane knowledge and contributing to the construction of an empire that proved tremendously lucrative for them.

In the Ice Cap Region, hundreds of Thraedli studied under the Lith-Crillion. The more knowledge they gained from the Lith-Crillion, the more they yearned to acquire. For almost a century, they diligently studied under the Lith-Crillion, until they eventually decided to seize control, sacking Miradalêth in 1590 LE and then forming the confederation of Saer Erkjorg two years later in 1592 LE, which endured until 1535 HE.
