The Maen Fyrk Boundary Ward encloses Frosvirk and Maen Fyrk. Regrettably, a necromantic calamity in Frosvirk has caused the surrounding land to become imbued with necromantic power, giving rise to a material known as ebony ice. All the inhabitants of Frosvirk had their souls stolen by an abyssal entity, and many have since transformed into formidable undead.
When Saer Erkjorg learned of the desolation at Frosvirk, they dispatched their foremost arcanists to contain the necromantic energy pouring from the area. These eldritch giants harnessed Lith-Crillion magic, esoteric lore pilfered from Miradalêth, to erect a boundary ward around Frosvirk and Maen Fyrk. They anchored this arcane barrier with towering monoliths crafted from Tolm.
