Maen Saetild is a Path of Necromancy centered on life drainage and soul consumption. This exceptionally dark and corruptive form of magic defiles and taints the land and its inhabitants. Originating from the Thraedli of Frosvirk, it emerged through a fortuitous discovery.
In 375 LE, a team of eldritch giants stumbled upon the Halatrax, an ancient and towering vessel. They swiftly moved to board it before it vanished once more into the shroud of a squall or fog. Aboard the Halatrax, they engaged in a fierce battle with a horde of undead and shadowy creatures. The few survivors who managed to escape had discovered trunks containing ancient writings, the Scrolls of Maen. These invaluable texts were to greatly augment the Thraedli's understanding of the Path of Necromancy and the intricate workings of Necrotic Energy.
