Towering like a scene plucked from the pages of a volume or the canvas of an artistic masterpiece, Nâzel is an immense citadel that spans the breadth of the Eyegaihur valley. It was one of the formidable fortresses constructed by the archangels to prevent Bal-Kriav from succumbing to the primordials.

Nâzel boasts an imposing five-hundred-foot-high perimeter, with 777 fighting decks and towers spanning across five miles. The walls feature a sturdy 150-foot-thick base, equipped with slits that can be used to flood the surrounding area with water or other liquids. Some of these openings conceal massive adamantine blades, formidable scythe-like defenses capable of effortlessly tearing through the ranks of invading forces. Within the fortress, an intricate network of thousands of passages and chambers has been meticulously constructed to impede and confuse attackers, with the defenders themselves occasionally succumbing to the labyrinthine design.

Nâzel is my finest construction. Our foes, intent on destroying this world and returning it to the depths of chaos, suffered greatly whenever they approached this place. I designed the fortress to have 777 fighting decks, which allowed our armies to launch sneak attacks against the besiegers and handle the flyers, the crawlers, and the towering monstrosities. Nâzel was the last great defense along Eyegaihur before reaching Aphalur. This fortress withstood many assaults, being breached several times during the Battles of Regadnîn. Some of these breaches were planned, as we would lure the primordial armies into the kill zones west of the wall and then counter-attack through secret passages to re-garrison Nâzel. The other times, the fortress was overwhelmed by monstrosities too large or resilient to be tackled with a static defense.

The fortifications of Nâzel showcase a patchwork of repairs from the numerous sieges it has endured. Following the departure of the gods and angels to their own realms, Nâzel was bereft of the majority of its armaments and artifacts. Currently, the location serves as the dwelling of humanoids, giants, and monstrosities. A handful of intrepid adventurers have ventured to this place, recovering ancient relics and items from the Dawn Era.
