In the Dawn Era, the Nawirrûs Covenant battled the primordials for the right of Creation. Built by the Covenant, the Bulwark of Târulûth was constructed to keep the primordials from breaking out east and north of the battle-torn wastes of Regadnîn. The comprehensive design, comprising blockhouses, towers, and walls covering hundreds of miles, was the work of a brilliant Covenant general named Târulûth.
The Bulwark of Târulûth is constructed along the southern slopes of Ušuškad, commonly referred to as the Elephant Backbone in the present day. It is a multi-tiered defensive system boasting sturdy, towering walls, strategic watchtowers, mountain strongholds, subterranean bastions, widened ravines, and various other fortifications. The region also features dams engineered to flood the passes of Eyegaihur, or to inundate an area and then overwhelm invading forces with a barrage of electrified and freezing magical attacks.
The Bulwark of Târulûth is a series of fortifications constructed by the gods and their angelic forces. These formidable structures were designed to impede the primordial hordes from escaping the confines of Regadnîn.
Many of these defenses were engineered by Naraz-Nâru. At the time, this individual was an angel, a remarkably powerful one, a member of the Golden Seven, and serving Bal-Kriav.
The defenders of this as yet unnamed world (now known as Bal-Kriav) constructed formidable bastions to confront the frequently colossal size and immense power of the primordials and their legions.
Three of my preferred strongholds are Aphalur, Irrai, and Nâzel. One location, not constructed, but rather "re-tooled" is Dališar. This structure resembles a volcano, behaves in a similar fashion, yet is actually an imprisoned, lobotomized primordial.
