The original Scrolls of Dawn were the work of an explorer named Nindonor. This scholarly wizard undertook perilous journeys to Aphalur and then clandestinely transcribed the ancient writings on the Plaques of Aphalur. These writings, the Scrolls of Dawn, rank among the most valuable historical sources on the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), the dire menace posed by the primordials, and the entities that would ascend to become Higher Powers.
The celestial events of the God Era and the monumental conflict of that epoch, the Demon Spawn War, are also covered (89 GE - 269 GE).
Copies of the Scrolls of Dawn can be found in the majority of sizeable libraries.
