In 1489 DE, single-minded in purpose, a weave spider was drawn to a ripple in the Weave. This ripple was a hole, a rift for rapid transport across vast distances. To any weave spiders, it is a contamination that must be sealed. In the process of mending the hole, a counter-measure went off, exploding a null mine. This blast infused the undertaker with entropic energies, making him a chaos infused being. No longer bound to the Web of Magic, now self-aware and free-willed, it took the name Sarseg.

Throndar is a desolate, lifeless world, a tragic victim of Sarseg's ravenous appetite. It is a melancholic, barren realm, devoid of any meaningful magic.

Arcana, from a Scroll of Dawn - "Forgotten Realm of Arcane Mysteries"

In the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) , Sarseg, aligned with the primordials, was a leading rift-maker. He constructed bridges to distant worlds and systems, targets for primordials intent on undoing Creation. Once a guardian of the Web of Magic, Sarseg's unparalleled knowledge of its workings enabled him to flood rifts with entropic energy, keeping them open for longer and enhancing their stability. On the world of Bal-Kriav, the Radullu Rift, warded by an area of dead magic, stands as Sarseg's most renowned rift. Opened in 1688 DE, it served as a conduit between the worlds of Throndar and Bal-Kriav.

In 2315 DE, Sarseg unraveled the enigma of the Web of Magic, establishing the discipline of Webweaving.

In the year 8337 of the Dawn Era, Sarseg severed Throndar 's connection to the Web of Magic, rendering it a realm devoid of arcane power.

In 8551 DE, evading a Covenant kill-team, Sarseg traversed one of his rifts. A compromised rift, ensnared by his adversaries, the rift sealed on both ends, stranding Sarseg within the Web of Magic. Solitary, his occult abilities drained by the ravenous Web, he was swiftly subdued by a pack of weave spiders.

In the aftermath of his capture, Sarseg's consciousness was fragmented and dispersed across the Web of Magic. Over time, his essence coalesced into a singular entity, albeit one diminished in power and knowledge. Now a shadow of his former self, Sarseg exists as a spectral presence within the Web, occasionally manifesting as a whisper or fleeting vision to those attuned to its mysteries.
