In the year 2315 of the Dawn Era, a chaos-infused weave spider named Sarseg unraveled the secrets of the Web of Magic, establishing the art of Webweaving. Those who follow this discipline are known as Web Weavers, skilled in harnessing the arcane energy of the Web.
In the Maziggandîm Conflict (348 LE - 355 LE), tomes found in Nemexus led to the revival of the lost art of Webweaving. Long kept a secret by the Lith-Crillion in the First Epoch, the discovery of the tome Izrukîn Sa Thir facilitated a more widespread dissemination of the Webweaving technique. During the Gulimbor Cataclysm (996 - 1203), a conclave of web weavers, the Eldritch Conclave, brought magical devastation upon Gulimbor and other regions of Karterus.
Tangled Weave is the largest web weaver school.
Web weavers is a prestige class available to wizards and others who use arcane magic.

Web Sense
This spell-like ability is a minor action. It has an area of effect centered on the web weaver that extends outward in a 40-foot cone. It functions akin to the detect magic spell, but provides a more profound understanding of the type and potency of the magic detected.
Web Tap
This spell-like capacity is a complimentary action. Each application of this power carries a 2% risk of triggering an assault by a weave spider.
The assault of a weave spider is abrupt and emerges from nowhere. The veil separating this world and the realm of magic will open, and the predator appears. It is frequently an immense spider, the magnitude of an elephant, and can move rapidly. Unless you are an arch-mage, refrain from attacking it with spells or magic, for your chances of breaching its defense are slim. The weave spider bites with magic-draining fangs and can web a substantial area with scorching strands. These are impervious to fire but feeble against cold.
Ondimion, sole survivor of the web weaver assault on the Emancer's arcane capacitor, endured the harrowing ordeal
Web Boost
This spell-like ability is a minor action. Web Boost weakens the Web of Magic, producing a spiraling cloud of magic above the caster. The cloud can manifest as bursting motes, a rainbow of intertwined ribbons, conjured apparitions of monsters, or various other random possibilities. The cloud is fixed in position, covering a 20-foot radius and floating 15 feet above the caster. This cloud significantly enhances the web weaver's spells, increasing their difficulty to resist by an additional +5 DC. If the web weaver moves away from the cloud, it disappears. Every other round that Web Boost is present, there is a 4% chance of summoning an attack by a weave spider.
Web Rift
This spell-like ability functions as a minor action. Web Rift opens a rift to the Web of Magic, from which tendrils of invisible magic stream forth and empower the web weaver. This surge of magical energy enhances the damage per die of the web weaver's spells and doubles their casting range. However, each spell cast using Web Rift carries a 6% chance of provoking an attack by a weave spider.
The tendrils from the Web Rift are invigorating. Having experienced such potent energy flow through one's being, it becomes evident why so many have craved more, despite the exacted toll.

Create Energy Rift
After locating a compromised section of the Web, a Web Weaver can open an energy rift.
Web Spigot
The web weaver's capability to memorize third and fourth level spells is doubled.
Split Web
The web weaver constructs a Web Rupture that allows access to the Web of Magic and subsequent transition to another Mortal System. The likelihood of a weave spider arriving to mend the web increases cumulatively by 5% per round after its formation. Throughout its duration, all web weavers within a 1000' radius benefit from maximized and extended spells, without expending higher-level spell slots.
