In 791 DE, Bal-Kriav was appointed as a Sentient Creationist, collaborating closely with Bruh Kreniik, a revered Master of Creation, to populate worlds with diverse lifeforms.
The Tungesti race was created by Bal-Kriav in his image during the year 1088 DE.
During the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) , Bal-Kriav rose to become a renowned and highly charismatic military commander, whose leadership abilities were unparalleled.
Against seemingly insurmountable odds, when mired in deepest despair, weighed down by past shortcomings and receding hope, there is no other figure who better rallied a unit, lifted the morale of a besieged populace, or inspired others to persevere through obstacles and adversity. He would frequently conclude his captivating addresses with words of motivation that are now utilized throughout the realms - from primitive cave etchings to runes upon obelisks and statues dispersed across the spheres of Quara'tun.
Athena, from a Scroll of Dawn - "Exalted Ode to Bal-Kriav"
Bal-Kriav ultimately rose to the position of Supreme Commander of the Nawirrûs Covenant. During the Creation War, an angelic conflict against the primordials, he was entrusted with overseeing the Void sector known as Quara'tun. The frontlines of this sector, encompassing an entire system of planets and stars, centered on a newly created world codenamed Sphere 411. On this world, Bal-Kriav led the Covenant's armies against the primordials intent on unraveling Creation.
In the 14th Battle of Regadnîn, on the Irrai ramparts, Bal-Kriav confronted a mighty primordial named Nakh-Zennîm. Driven by either foolhardiness or a desire to inspire his troops with a heroic display, Bal-Kriav faced the primordial alone and engaged in a battle that momentarily halted the fighting. However, Bal-Kriav proved no match for Nakh-Zennîm and was ultimately killed. Yet his death galvanized his angelic forces, who succeeded in driving the primordial armies back into Regadnîn. A month after this battle, the Golden Seven successfully petitioned the Nawirrûs Cartography Board, securing the renaming of Sphere 411 to Bal-Kriav.
Said to be overly lenient, with captured enemies dispatched to prisons (cf. Order 9119 ), hardliners like Ares offered to carry out the unpleasant tasks that Bal-Kriav was unwilling to undertake; transporting the captives to preempt future threats. Consequently, Bal-Kriav's decision resulted in thousands of primordials being sent to perilous locations like Denerra.
