Piranoth, a primordial Arch-Creationist, is renowned for crafting the system of worlds called Piranoth's Steps. He also brought into existence three of the four base giant races - Fire, Frost, and Storm. His son Hettar would subsequently create the earth giants. During the Creation War, these giants fought alongside chaos archons and a multitude of other minions serving the primordials.
Piranoth is one of the oldest and most powerful of all the primordials, far predating any deity. During the Dawn Era, Piranoth commanded fifty legions of giants. In the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) , his forces battled the very gods over the fate of countless realms. Though this was not his preferred course of action, Piranoth was often found distant from the frontlines, preoccupied with aspects of Creation. Consequently, he dispatched the majority of his legions to the theaters of conflict. Thinly stretched in this manner, Piranoth's domains would eventually fall as the demons rose up in the Abyssal Release ( 7777 DE - 8777 DE ) .
Two of his favorite creations, the titans Geb and Hettar, were virtual siblings. These two primordials differed greatly in many respects and frequently clashed, yet proved indispensable during the Creation War.
Piranoth was adamantly opposed to infanticide, to such a degree that he even spared those whom his extraordinary prescient abilities indicated would likely pose a future problem. In his son Gabin Kûn, he foresaw not the problem, but rather the seeds of a potential rebellion.
The future, while vaguely foreseeable, is perpetually evolving, particularly when one actively seeks to alter its course. The consequences can occasionally prove far more detrimental than if one had simply refrained from intervention.

Gabin Kûn was deemed so problematic that his father dispatched him deep into Piranoth's Steps to construct a forge, essentially to occupy him and remove him from his own affairs, as well as the affairs of other primordials who might prove less forgiving. His son erected the grand citadel of Naratyr and followed in his father's footsteps by siring numerous progeny. Many of those born to him would become the "seeds" that rose to lead the Abyssal Release and transform Piranoth's Steps into the Abyss.
Another of Piranoth's sons is Thyrm. This frost titan never encountered his father, as he was born to one of Piranoth's abandoned and forgotten concubines.
Piranoth authored several volumes of arcane literature, with the most formidable being the Shift Tome.
Piranoth is presently confined within a throne designated The Final Step ; wherein he dutifully serves the ambitious primordial lord Drachmon.
