Created by the esteemed Piranoth, Hettar was an Earth Titan who assisted his creator in the sacred work of Creation. Endowed with the powers of a Sentient Creationist, Hettar labored alongside his "father", seeding worlds with the fundamental elements of life. Two of Hettar's sown creations were the mighty races of giant-kind - the stalwart Earth Giant and the enigmatic Eldritch Giant.
With the commencement of the Creation War (1486 DE - 8777 DE), Hettar departed his father's side in the battle against their previous endeavors. A phase of impulsive adolescence, as his father has documented, driven by a desire to be part of something more grandiose.
In the conflict against the defenders of Creation, Hettar was initially wholly dedicated to the principles of the Primordial Mandate. Throughout the millennia-long war waged across numerous worlds and systems, Hettar's perspective evolved. It hardened into a focus on establishing a base of operations, should the primordials suffer defeat.
He grew weary of the sluggish pace, his techniques growing increasingly sinister. Unsurprisingly, what corrupted Piranoth's Steps also corrupted the creator and his creations. Hettar, Piranoth's creation, perpetrated heinous acts solely for the pleasure of it. He had strayed from his path, abandoning the principles of the Chaos Purists and, most critically, the Primordial Mandate.
Drachmon, from a personal diary - "Embraced by the Threads of Damnation"
On the world of Bal-Kriav, Hettar confronted the Covenant across the vast Great Expanse and into the icy Ice Cap, establishing a formidable base of operations from the hills of Radveig to the lost vale of Rumak. The conflict eventually devolved into a phony war, with Hettar more invested in being a part of the Covenant's triumph.
On 3 Warper 8502 DE, Hettar was vanquished by a renowned platinum dragon called Bahamut. Incapable of defeating him through physical might, Bahamut resorted to an intricate ritual, transforming his breath weapon into a petrifying vapor. Petrified, Hettar now lies partially submerged in Lake Rumak.
