One of the epic engagements during the Creation War was the renowned Battle of Šadullu. This protracted two-week conflict unfolded on the ground and in the skies above the Šadullu region, spanning the years 1486 DE to 8777 DE.
The Covenant's Supreme Commander Bal-Kriav and the Covenant generals Silvanus and Danzar-Khâl engaged in combat with the formidable Nine-Tongued Worm as it sought to obliterate a world then known only as Sphere 411.
In this epic conflict, the Nine-Tongued Worm annihilated the Šadullu continent, torn from its earthly foundations, it drifted skyward toward the creature's cavernous jaws; a one-way portal back to the Sea of Entropy. Following the severance of one of its serpentine tongues, the colossal entity reeled backward, plummeting into the Chaos.
