In the Dawn Era, Silvanus, a wood elf hero, served under Corellon. He possessed a deep fascination with nature magic, becoming a master of the druidic arts. Silvanus is believed to have been one of the first to undergo a transformation from mortal to fey, becoming more nature energy than life energy – a process known as transcending. Two hundred years after his birth, Silvanus's skills rivaled those of Corellon himself. Consequently, he was reassigned from Kriav to the Sphere 411 theater, placed under the command of the god Bal-Kriav, where he rose to prominence and became one of the great archangels of the Creation War.

In the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) , Silvanus served under the Nawirrûs Covenant. At the onset of the Battle of Radullu, requiring a more resilient warrior, Bal-Kriav elevated Silvanus to the rank of Archangel. One of the Plaques of Aphalur states that he fought in the Battles of Regadnîn, aiding in the imprisonment of a primordial dreadnought named Dališar. Silvanus was also responsible for relocating a primordial known as Silfergath to the Prison Continent.

He fought alongside Danzar-Khâl and Bal-Kriav, pushing the Nine-Tongued Worm back into the realm of Chaos. This legendary battle, potentially against the most formidable primordial beings, resulted in the fracturing of an entire continent. Šadullu was rent asunder, with its fragments floating upwards to become scattered islands and debris amidst the clouds. Saddened by the devastation, it is said that Silvanus's tears became a perpetual storm, sweeping across the shadowy sea below (Silvanus's Tears) .

A preeminent practitioner of magic utilizing nature energy, his capability to harness this substance granted him an extraordinary aptitude for locating Sparks of Creation - an instrument of Creation, which facilitated his ascension as a Beast Creationist.

On 19 Witchrite 3288 DE, Silvanus utilized Sparks of Creation and warp matter to bring forth the inaugural Treant. Originating as a mundane tree, it was endowed with sentience, mobility, and camouflage, becoming the vanguard of an expansive network of intelligence gatherers ; the watchful eyes and ears of the Covenant.

Huemutril, the initial dryad of her ilk, was likewise fashioned by him.

In the Demon Spawn War ( 89 GE - 269 GE ) , Silvanus served as one of the top generals under Asmodeus. He was tasked with defending Ma'Ohari from the demonic invasions plaguing Bal-Kriav. In this region, he engaged the demon hordes led by Graz'zt. Silvanus also saw combat on the continent of Hezmort. In 161 GE, he faced the difficult challenge of subduing the treant Núlananya - a noble being who served as the core of the Roots of Núlananya. This act closed the Núlananya Rift. Afterward, Silvanus and his forces turned their attention to Jurusalax. In 162 GE, deep within the ancient black oaks of Logor, Silvanus slew the demon lord. His troops then liberated the area from the demons and freed the Gimrune from centuries of bondage.

Silvanus was a co-founder of The Balance. He joined this group on 20 Temporal 1. His small religious following and increasing detachment from Balance affairs were perceived as detrimental to the group's stability. To accommodate another deity with the Mantle of Nature, Silvanus was removed from The Balance. In 1685, he was succeeded by Aredhel.

Two factions tirelessly toiling to augment his divine power are the Cheldremn and the Einglach. Silvanus wields an empowered nature domain bestowing Follower Boons upon his devoted worshippers.
