Silvanus authored this autobiographical work. The passages detailing the Creation War rank among the most captivating.
The Worm is colossal. It does not fear potential aggressors, as its lengthy body - stretching for hundreds of feet - can simply roll over and crush them with its immense muscle, sinew, and fat. The creature can expand its circumference, growing from its usual fifty-foot cross-section to as much as five hundred feet across. The latter size is attained when it opens the inter-system rift that serves as its gut. What transpires next is not fully understood. The Worm unleashes a disruptive energy that breaks down inanimate objects, separating them into smaller pieces drawn upwards in a vortex of debris. Both living and inorganic matter are pulled towards the Worm's gaping maw. While inanimate objects undergo this breakdown, living entities are spared, as their complex energy makeup, often comprising multiple energy types, requires greater effort for the beast to disrupt. This poses no challenge for the Nine-Tongued Worm, which allows the vortex of debris to grind, crush, and tear. Once inside the Worm's mouth, all this matter is then discarded into the vast expanse of Chaos, where it is lost in a realm so immense that all other solar systems could easily fit within it.
