In the Demon Spawn War ( 89 GE - 269 GE ) , Kezgihr served on the side of the Covenant, engaging in combat against the demonic invasion of Bal-Kriav. His final period of service was with a distinguished unit known as Zephyr Talon. Operating within the Ma'Ohari Region, he faced the hordes of a formidable demon lord named Graz'zt.

Confronted with a war of attrition that invariably favored the demons, Kezgihr and his loyalists embarked on a more ruthless course of action. History would subsequently designate them the Forsaken Six ; pursued by the Covenant and members of their former unit, each individual would ascend as a Vampire in service to Kezgihr.

After the Demon Spawn War, Kezgihr returned to Ma'Ohari, settling within the Zan Urk mountains. His aspiration was to establish a sustainable civilization for vampires. When the tyrannical demon empire of Varelay rose to power, he and his subordinates exploited and were compelled to engage in combat with their "sustenance".

In the First Merioss Crusade ( 911 HE - 920 HE ) , Kezgihr orchestrated the ascent of the vampire lords and the coordinated menace they represented to the populace of Smizerak. When Drachlaz succumbed to Smizerak and its allies, Kezgihr conspicuously evaded the pyre of fallen bodies.

Three years after the First Merioss Crusade, in 923 HE, Kezgihr established the group Grisapho Vu'tira - the inaugural member of the Blood Cults of Kezgihr. The modus operandi of Grisapho Vu'tira entailed organizing vampires and employing their collective might to eliminate adversaries such as the Night Vigil, Radiant Cross, and elite vampire hunting units from Smizerak.

Around 950 HE, Kezgihr journeyed to Hezmort, where he commenced establishing more Blood Cults. Continuing to learn from the habits of his kind, these cults "over-worked the fodder," depopulating the surrounding countryside. The survivors, many driven feral by the scarcity of blood, traversed five hundred miles of scorching sands, initiating a historical period known as the Feeding of Kezgihr.
