On 1 Artifice 923 HE, three years after the First Merioss Crusade (911 HE - 920 HE), the Grisapho Vu'tira - the inaugural cell of the Blood Cults of Kezgihr, was established deep within the ruins of Drachlaz. Formed as a vampire society focused on self-preservation, one of their central objectives was enhancing the vampire image, making it clear that unrestrained ferals and inadequate resource management were problems they sought to rectify.

Go silent with the night, feed unnoticed.

Kezgihr, from his acclaimed work Kurthac Taloraz - "The Third Principle of Endurance"

Members of the Blood Cults of Kezgihr have access to extensive libraries and schooling. They are trained in local history, conversation, fashion, and how to blend seamlessly with the population they prey upon. Each cell of the Blood Cults of Kezgihr comprises a specialized group of secretive rogue operatives. Their methods serve as a training guide for the Sanguine Whispers, though not in a predatory manner, as recorded in the Beld Roze on how to undertake clandestine services, providing support to all sides during times of conflict, treating such operations as a business and maintaining neutrality in the political sphere.

Kezgihr, the organization's founder, established doctrines for vampire survival. In the beginning, these were militant in nature, organizing vampires and utilizing their collective strength to vanquish foes like the Night Vigil, Radiant Cross, and elite vampire hunting units from Smizerak. Some of these groups had been pursuing their kind since the First Merioss Crusade (911 HE - 920 HE), necessitating numerical superiority and organization to combat enemies trained in the art of slaying vampires. Kezgihr narrowly escaped permanent rest at the hands of the holy assassins of the Radiant Cross. Fearing for his safety, he departed Ma'Ohari and then Karterus, sailing far south to a distant continent known as Hezmort. On the southern coasts of this faraway land, he founded his second blood cult, the Hlotho Zîn.

Confine a vampire within a cell for several months, depriving it of blood, and it will become feral, bestial. Even the most intelligent vampires lose their wits during this blood deprivation. When Hezmort's blood cults annihilated the humanoids of the southern expanse, they descended into bestiality. They endured the scorched wastelands of Barba'gom, less than a hundred from thousands reaching the abundant lands to the north, initiating the Feeding of Kezgihr.
