In the Horgon Era, hundreds of vampires serving Hlotho Zîn and other blood cults perished while traversing the unforgiving desert - lost in sandstorms, buried under mounds of sand, or succumbing to the scorching Holy Rays of Merioss. The survivors of this perilous journey, upon reaching the fertile lands of Honmin, soon joined the Feeding of Kezgihr, which spanned the years 1552 HE to 1798 HE.
Today, the gravest peril of the desert, beyond its unforgiving conditions, lies in its buried vampires. The impending sandstorm may well uncover one, unleashing a blood-famished vampire that is utterly unrestrained in its behavior.
The climate of this desert is exceedingly dry and scorching. Devoid of surface water, life primarily flourishes around towering crags and their deep springs.
