In the Incarsabec Rebellion ( 1531 HE - 1544 HE ) , the B'lailleth revolted against their former overlords. Following the rebellion, adrift in the Astral Sea, the hero Gith established the nation of B'lailleth. It grew in size as other peoples freed themselves from the Suellk, yet it remained predominantly a Githyanki realm.
In the initial reign of Lady Hunger, the empire endured the sanguine purging of their empress and her court of vampires. As the armies became increasingly less living and more undead, Lady Hunger's inaugural reign diminished the empire to a mere shadow of its former grandeur. Dread of being culled by Lady Hunger's numerous vampires or facing fabricated accusations compelled many to flee. This fragmentation catalyzed the ascent of several githyanki empires, with Har'kish being the most widely recognized on Bal-Kriav.
The heart of the empire is the Astral Sea. With outposts on numerous worlds, they maintain vassal states and permanent settlements for those engaged in agriculture or activities better suited to the Core Dimension, such as alchemy.
