Graz'zt's rise to prominence came as a soldier of the Nawirrûs Covenant. As a Covenant Solar, in 8196 DE, he embarked on a special mission into lands beset by the rise of demon lords and their own war against the primordials. While on Mellix, seeking to negotiate a military pact against a common foe, Graz'zt succumbed to the ravaging allure of a succubus. Named Lilek, she was the most powerful and seductive of her kind. Their five-year affair, with each mission an escape to the abyssal worlds, temporarily sated an overwhelming desire. Charged with a long-running affair with a known enemy, divulging information in the heat of passion, and party to evil deeds and cover-ups, Graz'zt was banished from the Covenant, made a Fallen Angel ( 4 Witchrite 8201 DE ) .
No longer shielded by the safeguards of a Solar, on the world of Savadire, Graz'zt was corrupted by the very essence of the environment and system around him. He joined his lover in grandiose schemes of domination and manipulation, gradually descending into increasingly darker ways. Lilek's liaisons with others evoked intense jealousy in Graz'zt, leading to vengeful affairs, thus explaining his reputation as the Abyss's most notorious womanizer.
On 19 Artifice 8355 DE, battling on the side of the demonic insurgency, Graz'zt ascended to the rank of Demon Lord. Over the ensuing two centuries, his military forces expelled the primordials from Azzagrat. Somewhere amidst this consolidation of power, he emancipated himself from the sway of his long-standing consort.
In 145 GE, Graz'zt's demon legions joined the ongoing Demon Spawn War, which had raged from 89 GE to 269 GE. Invading the world of Bal-Kriav, Graz'zt sought to conquer the Karterus continent. During the Yandôr Front, which spanned from 153 GE to 157 GE, Graz'zt's forces captured the region known as Bagwer.
In the Tha'lith Front ( 153 GE - 176 GE ) , another of the mini-wars that constituted the Demon Spawn War, Graz'zt engaged in battle with the Covenant armies of Silvanus and Lukoon. One lasting consequence of this conflict was a demon unit that escaped into the wilderness. Known as the Vauquix, they went into deep concealment, eventually establishing the Vareley Empire ( 684 LE - 2620 LE ) .
On Bal-Kriav, Graz'zt's influence and divine power gained traction under Mordkon Bluefang. Over centuries, he established cults from the Aerie of Dragons to the Northern Hordelands. Some of these cells operated out of brothels, with succubi whispering the word of Graz'zt to their lovers, promising wealth, success, or other desired rewards. These brothels proved highly effective, leading to the emergence of shrines and temples in Suf Sungaar, Vrak-Tror, Hezvix, and other cities across middle Brucrumus. Graz'zt's greatest gain came during the Dark Prince Civil War (1818 - 1821), as the Toomrur Hegemony became the heart of Graz'zt worship after the conflict ended.
Precisely five years following the Dark Prince Civil War, on 11 Brighstar 1826, Graz'zt ascended to the rank of Demigod.
Graz'zt is a sensual and lustful deity, known as a heavy imbiber of wine. He resides in a magnificent palace on the world of Azzagrat, aptly titled "The Brothel", and stretching as far as the eye can see are vineyards that are reputed to yield some of the finest wines in the entirety of the known universe.
