They hunger for blood, not out of necessity for survival, but because without it, blending in with their prey becomes vastly more challenging. Some vampires attempt to refrain from hunting the living, yet eventually find their ghastly appearance unbearable, as do those around them, leading them to seek the nourishment required to regain their former, living semblance.
One of the most formidable vampire organizations is the Blood Cults of Kezgihr. Adhering to the teachings of the vampire demi-deity Kezgihr, they have established cells in strategic locations across Midrêth.
