Designed by Drog'paagol and funded by the Orchish Empire, the Nir-Madyin labyrinth commenced as a covert government research facility. So secretive, that its builders, an army of Umahanbad laborers and designers, were all to be eliminated to maintain its anonymity. At the heart of the labyrinth stood a marvel called Phaze Keep. Drog'paagol and his team were tasked with unraveling the enigmas of this mystical keep and hundreds of other unidentifiable artifacts.
In 1332, Drog'paagol assumed the role of the 17th Dragon Headmaster of Vith Alok. Later that same year, the headquarters of this cult was relocated to the city of Nir-Madyin.
Nir-Madyin is connected to Fort Hellstorm via elevators, inclined pathways, and spiral staircases.
In 1822, following the Battle of Fort Hellstorm, the Fograth dismissed Drog'paagol for dereliction of duty; specifically, neglecting to assist the embattled forces.
