In 862 HE, the Durkoth and their minions arrived from a distant world. Awakening from a three-century slumber aboard the Spire of Molakh-Búle, they landed on the isle of Gathrot. Accompanying the Durkoth were their soldiers, the Hydrocur, and their workforce, nearly 20,000 Sussgurd. The leader of this Spire was Molakh-Búle, who directed his minions to establish the settlement of Mulun'nâth, the capital of the Abâthigûr empire.
Mulun'nâth, situated at the northernmost point of the Maphas-Kas crater, is a sprawling, city-sized ruin spanning an area three miles long and one mile wide. Constructed to facilitate mining operations, its overgrown streets lead to the entrances of a dozen abandoned mines, including the renowned Cinnuru Mine. The haunting presences that linger in this place have deterred any attempts to rebuild Mulun'nâth.
Overgrown and untamed, Mulun'nâth boasts nine fortified guard towers. Constructed by the Black Tide, they are only manned when work is being carried out in Bogalc-Nân, or to activate one of the ruin's six Night Vats.
