Maphas-Kas is an immense jungle-filled crater of Gathrot Isle. The remains of a collapsed volcano, its center features a deep crater lake named Agûrbâte. Bordering the northern side of this lake stands a towering purple crystal known as the Spire of Molakh-Búle. An ark that transported people away from brain-devouring calamity, its passengers founded the Abâthigûr (862 HE - 1011 HE).
Situated at the farthest reaches of this region are two capitals, one an ancient Abâthigûr ruin, the other the seat of power for the Black Tide of Thasmudyan.
Maphas-Kas is the domain of numerous soulless undead, savage blood apes, and Grell.
