The Vessel Helas, later renowned as the Spire of Molakh-Búle, was part of a series of ships engineered to withstand the Void. During the Lith-Crillion Era, on the world of Osâchar, it functioned as the palace of a Durkoth leader named Molakh-Búle.
When the Horgon Empire ( 159 HE - 537 HE ) faced attack during the Second Suellk Invasion, the Saints of Maen and Molakh-Búle evacuated a select group of their people aboard four Helas Vessels. In 537 HE, the Durkoth and their followers departed their homeworld for the Void.
In 862 HE, the four Helas Vessels that had departed from Osâchar spread across the skies of the realm of Bal-Kriav. The Shiphis Helas, under the command of the Molakh-Búle, descended upon Gathrot Isle. From the ship's Hibernation Bays, emerged 10,000 Durkoth, 3,000 Hydrocur, and nearly 20,000 Sussgurd, laying the foundations of the Abâthigûr Empire ( 862 HE - 1011 HE ) .
After the fall of Abâthigûr, the spire of Molakh-Búle and the surrounding isles of Necrocrypt became overrun by the undead. Known as a place of great necromantic lore, many sought Durkoth relics and the writings of Molakh-Búle. In 410, the then mortal Thasmudyan explored the spire. Altered by the locale, one of the items Thasmudyan discovered was a tome called Ebon Legion. In 1018, a Kriavfahliil named Caliguworm searched the spire for ancient knowledge, commencing his path to lichdom and the downfall of his people.
