In the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) , Osâchar served as a battleground between primordials and the Nawirrûs Covenant. The Durkoth of Osâchar, like numerous other mortals across various realms, joined the efforts to safeguard the works of Creation. This prolonged conflict, spanning millennia and infused with the turbulence of Chaos, led to dramatic transformations on Osâchar. The world became dominated by land and vast saline lakes, the remnants of once-expansive seas. Sathel ensured the survival of her Durkoth creations by triggering a mutation that made them better adapted to the terrestrial environment than the aquatic.
In the Second Suellk Invasion ( 430 HE - 537 HE ) , the majority of the major civilizations in this world succumbed to the formidable Suellk Empire. The sole survivors were remnants of the once-mighty Horgon Empire. Aboard colossal voidships known as the Helas Vessels, they drifted through the enigmatic Void for four centuries. Their arduous journey of deep slumber culminated upon entering the skies of Bal-Kriav. These arks contained a diverse array of alien races that now call Bal-Kriav home, including the Durkoth, the Theegans, the Sussgurd, the Dromites, the Laupha, and the Hydrocur.
Influential Durkoth authorities referred to as the Saint of Maen emerged in this realm. The final three to hold this distinguished title, Krak-Oth, Neld-Rac, and Rioch Tetrax, subsequently ascended to the rank of Higher Powers.
