The Zagul-Tîn are a Tungesti tribe who devote their worship exclusively to what they revere as the Bear Spirit, which is in fact merely an alternative embodiment of the deity Silvanus.

The Zagul-Tîn, similar to the majority of Tungesti, possess a notable distrust of the arcane arts, though this aversion does not extend equally to the druidic and shamanic disciplines.

The Zagul-Tîn uphold a longstanding tradition wherein a warrior attains fighting age by undergoing a ritual where he is bitten by a Werebear. Only those bold enough to endure the initial night when the bestial essence overtakes them emerge as werebears. Those who fail to persevere are regrettably consigned to obscurity, deemed unfit.

The nomadic territories of this tribe encompass regions within Hlothruk and expanses of the Troll Bogs.

In the Athenian Crusade (1539 - 1551), a detachment dispatched by the Zagul-Tîn proved remarkably effective in combating the undead.

Under the luminescence of the twin moons, the bestial warriors of Zagul-Tîn anointed their claws in the liquid soul-fire, a substance of devastating efficacy against the undead.
