Eysveig is a master strategist, a computational fragment of the Lost Ages. He was given life again, in another time one might say "brought back online", in the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) by the Nine-Tongued Worm. Like other disembodied thinkers, he was designed to assist in managing the vast legions under his master's command and coordinate their activities across a conflict spanning star systems and worlds.
Eysveig's mind comprised hundreds of conjoined brains. She is a diminished version of the disembodied thinker Ingu'lumin ; crafted as such, with Nine-Tongued Worm unwilling to foster another servitor more intelligent than himself.
The disembodied thinker typically exhibited a dominant brain that gradually consumed and assimilated the others, augmenting its own cognitive faculties. This entity was then subjected to an external force, potentially of psionic origin, which lobotomized the brain, rendering it subservient to a primordial overlord.
Ptah, an excerpt from a Scroll of Dawn - "Primordial Psionic Surgery"
In the Creation War, Eysveig participated in the conflict on the continent of Ĺ adullu. While marshaling an army of storm archons for an attack on Tiwa'erra, his agents apprehended a Covenant spy named Buldapulax. Ultimately, this hapless individual underwent a transformation, becoming a primordial entity akin to his captors at Eysveig's Infirmary.
On 29 Lunar 1501 DE, the Covenant general Ptah annihilated Tiwa'erra, along with Eysveig and his army of storm archons. Regrettably, several fragments of Eysveig's cerebral matter survived Tiwa'erra's cataclysmic implosion. Gathered by his subordinates, these remnants were transported to Eysveig's Infirmary, ultimately leading to the emergence of the Grell race, and a millenia long regeneration of their master.
