The Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) found them acting as a secret agent for the Nawirrûs Covenant.

On his final mission, he was apprehended conducting surveillance on Eysveig's army, which was then preparing to assault Tiwa'erra. This occurrence transpired on Šadullu, during the last major battle of that continent before it was torn asunder by the Nine-Tongued Worm. Fortunately for Buldapulax, he was too vital to remain in the combat zone, so he was transported to a clandestine location a day earlier.

In the Eysveig's Infirmary, a distressing facility where both amicable and antagonistic wounded individuals were subjected to experimentation, Eysveig's mentalists and standard torturers attempted to extract the secrets of the Roots of Núlananya from Buldapulax's psyche. However, the primordial's interrogation methods proved incapable of severing the connection between Buldapulax and his spy network.

Eysveig surmised that as long as Buldapulax's connection to the nature energy was established, it would be unfeasible to reveal any information regarding the spy network.

A more perilous course of action was adopted. Buldapulax was taken into the deeps of Bal-Kriav where he was immersed in the entropic energies of the Decomposition String. As an agent of the Roots of Núlananya, he already possessed a degree of warp matter, so this immersion in the Decomposition String was akin to an overdose. Buldapulax was physically sickened, his mind corrupted. He became a being of entropy and malevolence. He endured the effects of warp touch , his body transforming into a humanoid-like tree. It is said that Silvanus's conception of the Treant race was inspired by the tale of Buldapulax.

Buldapulax would later discover that by consuming the vital essence of feys, he could restore his constitution and become significantly more powerful; absent these beings, he would persist in declining and deteriorating.

Buldapulax proved to be a formidable minion of the primordials, ascending to the rank Primordial Lord in just two centuries. As a Primordial Lord, he was tasked with sowing chaos in Sphere 411's regions of Grashakh and Miradelgûn. This theater of the Creation War ( 1486 DE - 8777 DE ) was so expansive that he had little hope of controlling the entire area. He understood this was the intent of those even more powerful than he, other Primordial Lords envious of his swift rise to power. One of Buldapulax's most enduring accomplishments in Miradelgûn was his creation of the Sea Breach ( 19 Brightstar 2200 DE ) .

Buldapulax perished in the Creation War battling Golruwyrm. His body was torn asunder in melee combat with this dragon, yet his psyche persisted. Buldapulax waited steadfastly for his minions to reach him and imbue him with bottled fey essence. Regrettably, this desire remained unfulfilled, for when Golruwyrm succumbed to overwhelming numbers, her final breath unleashed a cataclysmic sandstorm that reduced Buldapulax and numerous others to near oblivion. These minute particles, no larger than grains of sand, were then carried on the winds and dispersed across a landscape that would come to be known as the Sands of Hell.

The history of the Creation War is chronicled in the Plaques of Aphalur. While the texts claim Buldapulax was eradicated, as Silvanus once observed, nature has a remarkable way of persevering. It is my hypothesis that the high concentration of mischievous and malevolent fey dwelling on the borders of the Sands of Hell are corrupted remnants of Buldapulax.

The eternal winds of the Sands of Hell must be heeded. We must apprise the unsullied fey of the perils carried on the Winds of Golruwyrm to the regions of Durgat, Maar Gosvah, and Maar'tolaak.
