This war commenced when a rift was opened within a treant named Núlananya. This passageway between realms, where one could traverse between worlds akin to stepping through a door, became known as the Núlananya Rift. Shortly thereafter, the ravaged legions of the demon lord Jurusalax, savage hordes of rune hounds and bar-lgura, swept across the rift, initiating the Zythess Front.
For five decades, Jurusalax waged a relentless campaign against the forces of Callarduran and Silvanus in the Zythess region. The demise of Jurusalax in 162 GE marked the cessation of demonic activities in the area.
