In the year 1126, fifteen Tungesti tribes from the Iraktharbhun Valley seized control of Iglutt, concluding the Kingdom of Naggor. The following year, under the leadership of their champion Dranfulmus, these tribes established the Targad confederacy.
The Iglutt Empire constructed roads, settlements, and fortifications across the Raganbiraks. Their territory expanded as far as Gudgrid and northward to Baurwen.
After the Black Tide War ( 1465 - 1486 ) , the remnants of the shattered armies of the Farinteen Alliance and the refugees of the Farinteen Dynasty fled into the territory of their neighbors. Those who journeyed eastward had to battle the Targad. This longstanding adversary was rapidly outnumbered by a vast population forced upon their lands by the merciless undead legions. In 1531, the Shields of Iraktharbhun captured Iglutt. Two years later, they seized Milithian. With the loss of their major holdings, the Targad confederacy was dissolved on 16 Witchrite 1534.
