Bazud-Ganal originated as a trading hub for the Turkûn clans inhabiting the Dunzakh valley. It functioned as a neutral zone where the clans could resolve disputes and as a central marketplace for the clans, as well as the native Goliath tribes and even the frost giants.

The thriving trade and burgeoning security of Bazud-Ganal had by 300 HE attracted the attention of rapacious Goliath tribes, who converged to pillage the prosperous city. Over the next dozen years, relentless raids and frontier assaults persisted. In 312 HE, a formidable multi-tribal force sacked Bazud-Ganal. However, they were themselves dislodged after merely two days, with the defenders surging forth from the sewers and subterranean passages to ambush and annihilate the army, intoxicated by revelry and plunder.

When the Turkûn clans were consolidated under the rule of King Shiglâb-Kûr, Bazud-Ganal became the esteemed capital of Malad-Mîn.

In the third year of the Mulinburam War (82 - 86), Bazud-Ganal succumbed for the final time to the formidable Goliath armies of the Pact of Khalas-Tûr.
