The Turkûn and Goliath of Khalas have endured lengthy intervals of tranquility interspersed with protracted periods of hostility. In these conflicts, goliath triumph was frequently achieved through a "human tide" strategy, overwhelmingly outnumbering their adversaries by a ratio of 20:1. Conversely, dwarven victories were typically secured by cunning stratagems and stalwart defensive postures. They would steadfastly withstand the enemy's assault on their fortifications, gradually exhausting the besiegers while sustaining comparatively minor losses.

You can wage a war without drawing your sword or dispatching your troops to Valhalla. Follow the example of Lukoon and contemplate your adversary's vulnerabilities, then sow the seeds - a well-placed charm can go a considerable distance.

Lukoon, from the prayer - "Rite of Beguile"

The Mulinburam War was instigated by the Gamakkhazar. A group of Azwyr Amoruk priests in this empire utilized an artifact to command ancient ghost kings and subsequently compel goliath chieftains to their will. In the Year 81, the Azwyr Amoruk of Ice Cap, who were allied with neither the Goliath nor the Turkûn, discovered an ancient dragon orb called the Charm of Razalannas. They employed this artifact (or were manipulated by it) to assume control of numerous Mulinburam. These ghost kings were then dispatched into the goliath tribes to spy on them and seize command of the decision-makers - not always the barbarian chief, but potentially his wife, concubine, or another influential figure. After assuming control of three prominent goliath leaders and several other key figures, they rallied the other tribes to a shared objective: the destruction of Malad-Mîn. In the Year 82, the goliath formed the Khalas-Tûr confederacy and went to war with Malad-Mîn. Years later, the conflict became known as the Mulinburam War due to the Azwyr Amoruk's role in instigating the hostilities.
